Chaussures de Yayi

The introduction of graphic programs for the computer and the abandoning of the old techniques for applying patterns to the copper rollers brought about new possibilities for pattern refinement. This is one of the first patterns to exploit these possibilities. The name ‘Chaussures de Yayi Boni’ that the pattern acquired refers to President Yayi Boni, who has been president of Benin since 2006.
