This pattern, loved by the Igbo, is one of the few Wax Block patterns to incorporate three colours. The pattern is based on a sketch provided by vendors. This pattern is said to represent an angry woman lying in bed with her back to her husband. Her husband is asking for forgiveness and begging her to turn around.

« SANT’ANNA » Au début du commerce du wax hollandais au Togo, les NANA BENZ dans leur association, avaient un bureau dont la vice-présidente était Mme SANT’ANNA Nelly. Par la méthode d’attribution de dessin aux dames, ce dessin s’est vu attribué à Mme SANT’ANNA d’où elle a eu son exclusivité, ce qui donna le nom de SANT’ANNA à ce dessin. Ce fut un dessin très apprécié par les femmes.
