Vlisco honours Dutch Monarchs with K(r)oningsdoek

Written by Vlisco Stories Team4 years ago

With the design of a unique 'Wax Hollandais' fabric Vlisco honours new King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima. Since 30 April 2013, King Willem Alexander has succeeded the Dutch throne following the abdication of his mother, Princess Beatrix.

West and Central Africa, Vlisco's main market, is home to a rich tradition in which historic and important events are celebrated by the creation of commemorative designs on fabric. For this historic Dutch event Vlisco designed a Limited Edition, only 12.500 yards have been printed. A copy of the fabric was presented to the new king and queen.

Unfortunately, this new collector's item is not offered for sale.
